Major social gaming developers are taking their games off of Google Plus.

It seems that social/casual gamers prefer to play on Facebook rather than Google Plus.  Both PopCap Games–best known for games such as Bejeweled and Plants vs. Zombies–and Wooga–developer of Monster World–are taking their games off of Google Plus and focusing instead on Facebook.  In a statement issued by the company, Wooga wrote that it has “decided to remove certain games from Google+ because we have a much larger following on Facebook and they are active users.”

-Nick’s take:  I know very little about social games–I’d never even heard of Wooga before–but this spells trouble for Google Plus.  PopCap–which is actually a subsidiary of EA–makes a lot of popular games, so players of those games will likely migrate to Facebook.
